Natasha’s Testimonial

Going to couples therapy with my husband at a faith-based counseling center has been a meaningful and humbling step in our journey together. Throughout our sessions, we were given practical tools rooted in both wisdom and biblical principles, such as active listening, communicating with love and without blame, and taking time to pause and seek peace before responding in moments of tension. We were also encouraged to pray together, invite God into our conversations, and be intentional about showing appreciation and grace toward one another. These tools have helped us not only understand each other better but also begin strengthening our relationship with Christ at the center.

At the same time, this process has revealed where we still need growth. We both desire to improve consistent and honest communication, patience, and address concerns before they grow into deeper conflict. I believe we are also being called to grow in humility, forgiveness, and vulnerability, allowing God to soften our hearts and guide our actions. We are learning that teamwork in marriage is essential, especially as we navigate being newly married while also getting to know each other in sobriety. This season is teaching us how to support one another with clarity, intention, and grace. While this journey is not always easy, I trust that as we continue to surrender our marriage to the Lord and apply what we’ve learned, He will continue to heal, strengthen and restore our relationship according to His will.

Tiffany’s Testimonial

As a member of The Gathering Church, I recently began attending Hope Counseling and am deeply grateful for this opportunity and the kindness shown by everyone involved. From the initial invitation to ongoing check-ins and supportive help when I needed to switch counselors, I’ve felt genuinely cared for—especially as someone who is naturally shy and anxious. This program has made me feel comfortable, supported, and safe, and I’m truly thankful for the compassion throughout the process.
