Comments from Therapists at Always Hope Counseling
Here are some comments from therapists at Always Hope Counseling working together with Restore Outreach in the “Restore Hope” program:
“Working with clients from Restore has been a great experience as a clinician. With my background in community health, I too often have seen what lack of community does to a human being. The clients who come through the Restore program often have endured trauma that can make trusting others difficult but Restore creates a community that truly meets people where they are and loves them unconditionally. This allows participants of the program to work on rebuilding their lives knowing they have people there to lean on if they have setbacks, “restoring hope” for a future they can thrive in. It is a privilege to be a small part of their process.”
“This faith community approach is literally watching the systems theory model -specifically – the idea of concentric relational circles take life. In many cases, people in recovery no longer have access to their core (inner most 2 circles) relationships – the unconditional love and acceptance they are finding in the community is serving as a bridge in some cases and in others a substitute – rebuilding their core circles for relationships – which is one of the best predictors of successful outcomes in any therapeutic model is how good are the support systems in their life. This community is building genuine support systems for people who don’t have any and can keep them even after their clinical intervention is complete.”
“The clients I have worked with from Restore have been some of the most genuinely receptive and sincerely motivated I have encountered. Recovery is more than just the absence of a struggle; it’s the presence of a meaningful, connected life. Restore Hope is an individual therapy program designed for those navigating the transition from living to “thriving.” Healing happens when we address the person as a whole—not just one aspect. By focusing on the intersection of emotional health, interpersonal dynamics, and practical stability, this helps build a foundation for lasting success.”
“Restore Hope, the collaboration between Restore Outreach and Always Hope Counseling, shows just how meaningful healing can be when people are surrounded by genuine support. The sense of community clients experience at Restore Outreach plays an important role in their therapeutic development. When individuals feel welcomed, known, and supported outside of the counseling room, it strengthens the work happening in therapy and helps that growth carry into everyday life.”
“From a practice perspective, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and support a traditionally under-served population through Restore Hope. Partnering with Restore Outreach allows us to support individuals who might not otherwise have access to consistent therapeutic care, while honoring the strong community already present there. It is a privilege to contribute to this shared support, nurturing the therapeutic work and helping meaningful growth in the everyday life of these individuals.”
