Who: Restore Hope is a collaboration between Always Hope, a private practice LCSW group and Restore Outreach Ministries recovery community which serves at risk, disenfranchised, and underserved populations.
What: Designed in a comprehensive manner to link populations, (un-homed, transitional housing, low income), with professional mental health services by providing resources to people of limited or no financial means for counseling services.
When: During scheduled sessions by agreed upon times between Always Hope and Restore Outreach selected participant.
Where: Multiple campus locations, one being in 4th ward and a location in North Park, both being on bus routes. This allows participants with limited transportation to be able to walk or have easy access to public transit to be able to attend their sessions.
Why: This program seeks to restore the faith, the health, the families, and the communities they live in by collaborating with multiple service providers who will address the physical needs, the spiritual needs, and the mental health needs of the participants. Additionally, this collaborative community approach allows participants to find a place of connection with peers, be able to have basic living needs met, while be able to address the mental and spiritual health issue contributing to the systemic issues this community faces on a daily basis.
How: Primary differentiating factors of this program involve using a multi-disciplinary approach, community collaboration and relational building by integrating professional mental health services into already established Restore Monday night recovery communities.
