Our Recovery Program
Restore Outreach’s step‑study program of choice is Celebrate Recovery (CR), a Christ‑centered recovery model addressing all types of habits, hurts, and hang‑ups.

Celebrate Recovery mirrors AA’s structure while integrating biblical principles, especially the Beatitudes. Its curriculum includes:

• The Journey Begins (Books 1–4) — early recovery

• The Journey Continues (Books 5–8) — ongoing growth and healing

Family‑Centered Support
Restore is deeply committed to family restoration. Monday evenings include a shared community meal at 5:30pm, Gender‑specific classes for men and women at 6:30pm, and Next Generation childcare and programming for newborns through age 5. In addition, it offers age‑appropriate recovery-focused groups for kids and teens: Celebration Place (ages 6–10) and The Landing (ages 11–18).

Our Approach
Restore Outreach emphasizes personal responsibility rather than blame‑shifting or the “accuse and excuse” mindset. Participants are encouraged to confront harmful choices honestly and focus on what they can influence and change. By modeling healthy, accountable living year‑round, Restore helps families interrupt generational patterns of hurt, habit, and hang‑ups.

Community Partnerships
Restore partners with local organizations to offer additional support as programs become available, including adult GED preparation, adult literacy, parenting classes, budgeting and financial skills, communication and relationship skills, job skills and résumé support, spiritual enrichment, and additional recovery resources.

Get Involved
Restore Outreach is one of the community ministries of The Gathering Church, but participation extends far beyond one congregation. Volunteers and attendees come from many churches—or no church at all. Restore is not about building a name for any one church. It’s about uniting to share the love of Christ and make a real impact in our community. We accomplish more when we work together!
